Terms and Conditions of Transport

ARTICLE 1: COMMITMENTS OF THE COMPANY

All orders placed with Aravis Prestige VTC-Sylvain Piccarreta EI imply acceptance of the full terms and conditions of sale (below), which form an integral part of the transport contract signed between the company and its client. Any modification proposed by one of the parties may be accepted after written agreement by both parties.

Aravis Prestige VTC-Sylvain Piccarreta EI undertakes to respect the pick-up times and locations agreed at the time of booking.

ARTICLE 2: PRICES

Our rates are all-inclusive, fixed, expressed in Euro and known in advance. They cannot be modified due to road traffic.

Prices include vehicle, driver, passenger insurance, fuel, tolls and parking.

"Entrance fees to the various sites, restaurants and any additional services are at the customer's expense.

The price quoted corresponds to the price of the service requested at the time of the quote request, regardless of the number of people.

Example: For a van, a maximum of 6 people, the quantity of luggage transported is limited to one suitcase and one hand luggage per person and must be the subject of prior information from the customer to the company Aravis Prestige VTC-Sylvain Piccarreta EI beyond this quantity.

For a pick-up service, an approach fee can be calculated according to the location of the event, and the service will start at the time and place agreed by both parties. The carrier is in no way liable for damage caused by heavy traffic. This article also applies to wedding packages and other events...

The price quoted takes into account the information given at the time of the quotation request, and may be revised during the course of a service by agreement between the two parties.

For special requests, business transfers, VIPs, private flights, sightseeing tours, events or other destinations, please specify them in your request. The rate will be based on the information you provide.

Our rates include 10% VAT for passenger transportation services and 20% VAT for non-transportation services (VAT applicable according to the specific legislation linked to the status of the company Aravis Prestige VTC-Sylvain Piccarreta EI).

ARTICLE 3: RESERVATIONS

For all bookings, we will send you an estimate corresponding to the elements provided. This quotation must be returned to us, by post or e-mail, dated, signed and marked "Accepted for transport or service". The reservation of the vehicle will only be taken into account upon receipt of the above-mentioned quotation and a deposit of 50% of the amount indicated on the quotation (by bank transfer only). The remaining balance of the quote must be paid in full before boarding the vehicle.

NB: Should the reservation be cancelled by Aravis Prestige VTC-Sylvain Piccarreta EI, the deposit will be refunded in full.

ARTICLE 4: PAYMENT AND PENALTIES

We accept the following payment methods: Bank transfer (deposit only) Cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Foreign currencies*.

Late payment penalty rate: 15%.

Collection fee: €40 (D441-5 du code du commerce)

*Conversion made according to the value of the exchange rate in real time, +3% of the price in € of the service for bank charges.

ARTICLE 5: CHANGES DURING SERVICE

The vehicle is rented for a well-defined service. It is imperative to inform Aravis Prestige VTC-Sylvain Piccarreta EI of any changes as soon as possible in order to best prepare the transport and ensure the smooth running of the service.

Any modification of the route by the customer during the service may result in additional costs to be paid directly to the driver or reimbursed directly to Aravis Prestige VTC-Sylvain Piccarreta EI at the end of the service.

In the event of changes to the route or its duration due to the customer, the driver will note them on his mission order and have them signed by the customer.

Should the duration be modified at the sole initiative of the client, any costs incurred will be charged to the client.

Last-minute changes may be questioned if they disrupt the daily organization of the company Aravis Prestige VTC-Sylvain Piccarreta EI or its driver, in which case no changes may be made without the agreement of the management of the company Aravis Prestige VTC-Sylvain Piccarreta EI.

ARTICLE 6: DRIVER OBLIGATIONS

The driver is obliged to wear the respectable clothing imposed by Aravis Prestige VTC-Sylvain Piccarreta EI, to provide a clean vehicle and must respect the rules of safety, courtesy, confidentiality and punctuality.

In the event of a delay or problem occurring while approaching the pick-up location or during the service, the driver must inform his customer and Aravis Prestige VTC-Sylvain Piccarreta EI as soon as possible.

ARTICLE 7: CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS

All vehicles are non-smoking, and the driver can take breaks at the customer's request.

We insist on respect for the equipment; any damage to the interior or exterior of the vehicles will be billed.

Seatbelts must be worn. It is forbidden to stick your head out or open the doors without the driver's permission. The driver reserves the right to lock windows and doors.

Luggage or any other object belonging to the customer remains the customer's responsibility. Aravis Prestige VTC-Sylvain Piccarreta EI cannot be held responsible for theft or damage to valuables and luggages left in the vehicle.

For reasons of safety and respect for the vehicle, only the driver can open and close the doors.

The customer undertakes: to maintain a correct attitude, not to consume narcotics, not to get drunk.

The customer undertakes to respect the appointment times agreed between the two parties. Failure to do so may result in an increase in the price quoted.

Animals on board vehicles may be allowed in agreement with the company and in compliance with the Highway Code.

An accepted animal takes the place of a person. Aravis Prestige VTC-Sylvain Piccarreta EI reserves the right and authorizes its drivers to refuse access to the vehicle in the event of non-compliance and excess passengers.

ARTICLE 8: REGULATIONS / HIGHWAY CODE

The vehicle and driver will be provided with the on-board documents required for the smooth running of the entire service. The customer and passengers are required to comply with the legislation applicable to persons and their luggages in the country crossed.

The driver must comply with current road regulations. Under no circumstances may the customer require the driver to exceed the authorized speed limit or to commit traffic violations.

The driver reserves the right to interrupt the service in progress if the behavior of customers or their immediate entourage jeopardizes the safety of the driver or the rented vehicle, if they commit an offence, or if they behave in an insulting manner towards the driver. In such cases, no refund will be made.

ARTICLE 9: DRIVER WAITING TIME

If the customer is late, and depending on the availability of our schedule, the driver remains in place and waits under the following conditions:

Classic flight arrival: The driver waits up to one hour at no extra charge*. After the first hour, this hour becomes chargeable, i.e. €50/hour, and any further half-hour of waiting is charged at €25/half-hour.

Arrival by train: The driver waits up to 30 minutes at no extra charge*. After 30 minutes, the first half-hour is charged at €25 per half-hour, and any further half-hour is due.

Pick-up at your hotel or any other address defined by the customer: The driver waits up to 15 minutes at no extra charge*. After 15 minutes, the first quarter-hour is charged at €15/quarter-hour and any additional quarter-hour started is due.

This fare applies to conventional transport.

At your disposal: The driver may exceed the agreed end time by up to 30 minutes at no extra charge*. Beyond 30 minutes, this first half-hour becomes chargeable, i.e. 50% of the hourly rate on the quote/half-hour, and any additional half-hour started is due.

In the event that the driver is unable to stay on site so as not to compromise his day's schedule, Aravis Prestige VTC-Sylvain Piccarreta EI will do everything in its power to arrange for another vehicle to be dispatched as soon as possible. Under these conditions, the customer may have to wait and incur additional costs.

Waiting conditions for arrival by private flight or for a special event will be described in the quotation.

*The time taken into account is the arrival time initially scheduled by the rail or airlines, or the customer's arrival time defined at the time of booking.

ARTICLE 10: WITHDRAWAL/CANCELLATION

Any reservation cancelled within 3 days (72 hours) prior to the pick-up time as defined in the quote accepted by the customer, will be invoiced at 50% of the quote amount.

Any reservation cancelled within 24 hours prior to the pick-up time as defined in the quote accepted by the customer, will be invoiced at 100% of the quote amount. The non-appearance of the persons to be transported at the pick-up appointment (address and time) set by the client shall not constitute a case of cancellation of the contract entitling the company Aravis Prestige VTC-Sylvain Piccarreta EI to payment of the scheduled service and any damages or disbursements suffered/incurred by the company Aravis Prestige VTC-Sylvain Piccarreta EI reserves the right to cancel the service up to the day of departure in the event of force majeure - the deposit being returned.

In the event that we are unable to provide the vehicle specified in the initial contract, the deposit will be refunded in full, unless both parties agree to provide another vehicle.

In the event of a breakdown during the service rendering the vehicle unavailable, the amount of the service will be calculated on a pro rata basis for the time spent, without recourse or compensation for the damage caused.

We reserve the right to cancel the service in the event of force majeure, if weather conditions could jeopardize passenger safety.

ARTICLE 11: CLAUSES LIMITING LIABILITY AND DISPUTES

Aravis Prestige VTC-Sylvain Piccarreta EI can in no way be held responsible for delays in transport times due to circumstances beyond its control: blocked roads, engineering structures closed to traffic, detour, flooded roads, snow, traffic jams, interventions on the road by public forces (police, customs, fire department, etc.)... .

In the event of immobilization of the vehicle during the trip due to mechanical failure, accident or damage (deterioration, theft), Aravis Prestige VTC-Sylvain Piccarreta EI will endeavor to ensure the continuity of the trip, either with one of its vehicles, or with a vehicle chartered from another company, and undertakes to inform the client.

If Aravis Prestige VTC-Sylvain Piccarreta EI is unable to find a replacement for the vehicle during the service, making the vehicle unavailable, the amount of the service will be calculated pro rata to the time spent, without recourse or compensation for the damage caused.

In the event of a dispute, the Annecy Commercial Court shall have sole jurisdiction.

Complaints must be made within 8 days of completion of the transport service concerned.

Aravis Prestige VTC-Sylvain Piccarreta EI reserves the right to use photographs taken during services for promotional purposes.
